5-Minutes Fish Fillet

5-Minutes Fish Fillet

There's nothing better than a super quick meal that we can prepare in a moments notice. Fish Outta Water will transform any fillet you get into a celebration of flavors.

Ingredients:

Galic, sliced thin
Fish Outta Water
Salt
Butter
Parsley (for garnish)
Fish fillet- for this recipe we prefer any white-flesh fish:

  • Thin fillets: Sole, Flounder, Snapper...
  • Thick fillets: Halibut, Cod...

Steps:

1. Create small diagonal cuts  in the fish, like little pockets in which you'll place your thin garlic slices.

2. Add a little salt  (not too much, some fish is saltier than other), and sprinkle your fish spice generously on the fish.

3. Heat up your pan on medium heat- we love cast iron but any pan would do. Add butter, and watch the heat - don't let the butter brown too much or smoke.

4. Add the fish fillet, seasoned side down, and sprinkle more fish spice on the top side. We usually salt only the first side, but if you use thicker slides (such as cod) a bit more salt might be needed)

5. Cook for 2-3 min on each side, sprinkle a bit of parsley for garnish, and serve.
